Oliver Perez made his fourth relief appearance for Culiacan in the Mexican Winter League on Sunday night.

The southpaw surrendered a hit and walk and recorded two outs -- one when Matt Young tried to stretch a hit into a double. Perez allowed an inherited runner to score on Young's single, but ultimately was credited with the victory in a 6-5 win against Navojoa.

He is now 1-0 with a 6.23 ERA in 4 1/3 innings. He has struck out six and walked three while surrendering five hits.
