The Mets will be on Sunday Night Baseball at least twice this season. Neither will be a home game so no late Sunday night are on tap ... yet.

On May 1, they will face the Phillies at Citizen Bank and on July 10, they are at San Francisco.

From June 5 to July 3, and after July 17, has not been scheduled yet. The Mets could be flexed into Sunday night on those dates. The July 3 game against the Yankees is a likely candidate.

And why should you want more ESPN Sunday night games? Because that will mean the Mets are playing well and have meaningful games.

By the way, Bobby Valentine will be in the booth for Sunday night this year. He will be joined by Dan Shulman and Orel Hershiser.
