Here's an announcement from the Binghamton Mets:

The Binghamton Mets are pleased to announce their annual “Welcome Back B-Mets” Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5 at the Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel & Conference Center in downtown Binghamton. Tickets are $20 per person. B-Mets players and mascots will arrive at 5:30 p.m. for the “Meet the Mets” autograph reception. Dinner will be served promptly at 7 p.m., followed by a special baseball program with team introductions by new manager and former New York Mets infielder Wally Backman.

Baseball fans of all ages will have opportunities to meet the future stars of Citi Field, collect autographs and win Binghamton Mets memorabilia. The event will also feature live music performed by Scott Freeman & The SFB Quartet.

Tickets are on sale now through the Binghamton Mets and will extend through Friday, April 1. Tickets may be purchased by calling (607) 723-METS (6387) or in person at NYSEG Stadium during normal business hours. Early purchase of tickets is encouraged as last year’s event sold out. Corporate sponsorships are available for this event by contacting B-Mets Office Manager Amy Fancher.

All of the proceeds from this event will go towards providing scholarships for local youths to attend the Binghamton Mets Players Camp to be held at NYSEG Stadium during the season.
