There are still more than four weeks until Opening Day, but here's a stab at the Opening Day 25-man roster:

Rotation
Mike Pelfrey
Jon Niese
R.A. Dickey
Chris Young
Chris Capuano

Bullpen
Francisco Rodriguez
Bobby Parnell
D.J. Carrasco
Taylor Buchholz
Tim Byrdak
Pedro Beato
Pat Misch

Lineup
Jose Reyes, ss
Angel Pagan, cf
David Wright, 3b
Carlos Beltran, rf
Jason Bay, lf
Ike Davis, 1b
Brad Emaus, 2b
Josh Thole, c

Bench
Mike Nickeas (while Ronny Paulino serves remaining eight games on suspension)
Daniel Murphy
Chin-lung Hu
Scott Hairston
Willie Harris

If these projections materialize, that means Luis Castillo and Oliver Perez both are released. It also means out-of-options Nick Evans, Luis Hernandez and Manny Acosta are exposed to waivers before being sent to Buffalo, or traded beforehand. (Hernandez, still recovering from a foot injury, conceivably could open on the DL too.)

Jason Isringhausen obviously is a wild card for the bullpen if he can stay healthy.
