Pedro Beato allowed two hits and a walk in 1 1/3 innings in relief of D.J. Carrasco, but the right-hander picked up the win in Triple-A Buffalo's 4-3 victory at Louisville on Sunday. Beato is expected to again pitch Tuesday for the Bisons before being activated from the disabled list.

Beato landed on the DL on May 4 with what is officially labeled right elbow tendinitis.

On Sunday, Beato started the seventh and allowed a one-out single that inning but no other damage. An inning later, ex-Marlin Jeremy Hermida opened the frame with a double. Beato then walked Daniel Dorn. After a sacrifice bunt advanced both runners, Dale Thayer relieved Beato. Both runners were stranded.
