New York Mets catcher Josh Thole tied his career-high by driving in three runs on Sunday in his team’s 9-5 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
He also had three RBIs on April 26 against the Washington Nationals.

Thole whacked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning, then lined a two-RBI double down the first-base line in the second.
He now has at least one RBI in each of his last three games (five total).
“I feel like I’ve gotten the monkey off my back,” said Thole, who raised his average to .230 after finishing 3-for-4 at the plate. “I've just gotta keep having good at-bats.”
