The Mets have promoted 2010 first-round pick Matt Harvey and fifth-round pick Matt den Dekker from Class A St. Lucie to Double-A Binghamton. The move came a day after St. Lucie clinched its division first-half title in the Florida State League.

Den Dekker, 23, is a gifted defensive center fielder who hit .300 with six homers, 36 RBIs and 12 steals in 263 at-bats, although he walked only 24 times while striking out 62 times.
