David Wright took swings in a pool on Wednesday in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and expects to advance to hitting off a tee on Thursday, Terry Collins said. Collins expects Wright could be in a minor league rehab game in eight days.

That puts Wright potentially on a track to return from a stress fracture immediately after the All-Star break. Collins plans to watch Wright over the All-Star break.

"He says he feels absolutely great," Collins said.
