The Mets are swapping Carlos Beltran for Class A right-hander Zack Wheeler.
The Mets are at the "one-yard line" in completing a deal to send Carlos Beltran to the San Francisco Giants, ESPN's Buster Olney reports.

Olney reports the Mets will get back right-handed pitching prospect Zack Wheeler, who is 7-5 with a 3.99 ERA in 16 starts for Class A San Jose.

The Post reports the Mets may pick up $4 million of the remaining $6 million owed to Beltran.
