Santana diagnosed with shoulder fatigue

Here is the announcement from the Mets on the status of Johan Santana's shoulder:

New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana was examined today at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and was diagnosed with fatigue of the left shoulder. His shoulder exam was otherwise normal. Johan will spend the next week with the Mets in New York. He will rest from throwing but maintain a fitness program. He will resume his throwing program once his shoulder is at full strength.
