Right fielder Jeff Francoeur went 4-for-5 with two RBIs, center fielder Angel Pagan had a two-run homer and second baseman Luis Castillo also drove in two runs with a tiebreaking two-out single off Jeff Suppan in the sixth as the Mets beat the Brewers, 10-4, Sunday to snap a modest two-game losing streak.
Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey surrendered two homers to Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks, but departed for the bottom of the seventh with the Mets leading, 6-4. Left-hander Pedro Feliciano walked the lone batter he faced, Prince Fielder. But Elmer Dessens, who had tossed two scoreless innings Saturday after the dismal performances by Nieve and Perez, got Casey McGehee to ground into a double play and retired Hart on a flyout.
The Mets, who improved to 7-16 on the road, then posted four ninth-inning runs.

5:13 p.m.: Jeff Francoeur has hits in four straight at-bats. He delivers a two-run double in the ninth to push the Mets' lead to 8-4. ... Henry Blanco then adds RBI double. Make it 9-4. ... The Mets make it 10-4 before the half-inning closes.
5:04 p.m.: After tossing two scoreless innings Saturday, Elmer Dessens keeps it going Sunday. After Pedro Feliciano leads off the eighth with a walk, Dessens enters and coaxes a double-play grounder from Casey McGehee. Corey Hart then flies out. Headed to the ninth, Mets leading 6-4.
4:45 p.m.: R.A. Dickey serves up a second homer to Rickie Weeks, this one a two-run shot in the seventh that pulls Milwaukee within 6-4. One quirky Dickey stat: He's the third pitcher in franchise history to have two sacrifices and an RBI hit in the same game, joining Dwight Gooden (1986) and John Maine (2007), according to ESPN Stats & Information.
4:26 p.m.: Angel Pagan takes Jeff Suppan deep for a two-run homer in the seventh. Mets lead, 6-2.
4:15 p.m.: Jeff Suppan is far removed from that 2006 NLCS against the Mets. After replacing Randy Wolf for the sixth inning, Suppan surrenders a bases-loaded, two-out, full-count single to Luis Castillo up the middle that scores two runs as the Mets take a 4-2 lead. With one out and two on, Jerry Manuel left R.A. Dickey into the game to hit. Dickey bunted the runners ahead. With first base open, Jose Reyes then was intentionally walked to bring up Castillo. With the Mets taking a lead, Ike Davis replaces Fernando Tatis at first base.
3:31 p.m.: R.A. Dickey evens the score at 2. He delivers an RBI single past a drawn-in infield to score Jeff Francoeur from third base. Francoeur had singled, stolen second and advance to third on Henry Blanco's flyout. Middle third, 2-2.
3:16 p.m.: Another tough inning after loading the bases by the Mets. Jason Bay, Fernando Tatis and David Wright walked consecutively with one out. Angel Pagan then lined out to shortstop and Tatis was doubled off second base to end the top of the third.
2:59 p.m.: Apparently batting the pitcher eighth has merit. After Henry Blanco throws out Carlos Gomez attempting to steal, No. 7 hitter Jonathan Lucroy singles. Pitcher Randy Wolf, batting eighth, bunts Lucroy to second on a 3-0 pitch. No. 9 hitter Alcides Escobar then delivers an RBI single. Brewers 2, Mets 1, after two innings.
2:54 p.m.: Henry Blanco has now thrown out seven of eight would-be stealers this season. Blanco retired ex-Met Carlos Gomez trying to swipe second base in the second inning.
2:35 p.m.: Four pitches into the first inning, R.A. Dickey serves up a homer to leadoff batter Rickie Weeks. 1-1.
2:31 p.m.: The Mets loaded the bases with none out in the first, but come away with only one run. After cleanup hitter Fernando Tatis strikes out, David Wright has a sacrifice fly and Angel Pagan flies out to right field.

Game notes: Guy Conti is filling in as bullpen coach while Randy Niemann spends time with his ailing mother. ... Jerry Manuel said he placed Fernando Tatis cleanup because he didn't want to disrupt the other batters in the order from their now-customary positions. As for starting Tatis, Manuel wants to try to keep him sharp, as well as see the look with the Mets also facing two left-handers in San Diego. Ike Davis had belted a three-run homer Saturday. ... Pitcher Randy Wolf bats eighth for the Brewers. "I don't mind managing against it," Manuel said about pitchers hitting eighth.
