Here are the precise terms of the contracts relievers Frank Francisco (two years, $12 million) and Jon Rauch (one year, $3.5 million) agreed to in December.

Francisco's contract is slightly backloaded, with $5.5 million owed in 2012 and $6.5 million in 2013. There are no performance incentives.

Rauch can earned $500,000 in performance bonuses in addition to his $3.5 million salary, all based on games finished.

He gets $50,000 apiece for finishing 30 and 35 games, $75,000 apiece for finishing 40 and 45 games, and $125,000 apiece for finishing 50 and 55 games.

Rauch's highest games-finished total came in 2008, when he had a combined 51 with the Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks while tallying 18 saves.

Francisco has been anointed as the closer by Terry Collins.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
