Carter attends Palm Beach Atlantic game

Gary Carter attended the Palm Beach Atlantic University baseball team's season opener Thursday night, even though brain cancer leaves him unable to coach his squad.

Carter rode into the stadium in Jupiter on a golf cart, then watched about three innings from the press box with friends Tommy Hutton and Jeff Reardon, according to the Palm Beach Post.
