Sandy Alderson confirmed the Mets are unlikely to add any more players before spring training, telling the Post before hopping in a vehicle to drive from New York to Port St. Lucie: "We’re pretty much there. I don’t see what’s out there filling our specific needs. ... I really believe we have a tremendous opportunity for improvement from within the organization. Nobody had a career year. And everybody -- everybody -- has something to prove and that can be a powerful component during the season. ... It’s important guys have the right attitude. I think they do and we’ll convey that to them.”
