Jon Niese said he did not meet with Carlos Beltran during the ex-Met's visit to Port St. Lucie with the Cardinals. The southpaw added that he is unconcerned if Beltran eventually will fork over the roughly $10,000 he pledged to pay for Niese's nose job.

"I'm not a debt collection," Niese said, good-naturedly. "I mean, who do you guys think I am? If he pays, he pays. No, I'm not worried about it."

Told it seems like Beltran is just purposely stringing the storyline out, and delaying what will be an eventual payment, Niese said: "If he's trying to do that it ain't working, because I'm not sweating."
