Dillon Gee tossed six scoreless innings against the Miami Marlins' Triple-A affiliate Sunday afternoon. The Mets' No. 5 starter surrendered five hits while striking out four and walking none.
Gee was pitching in the minor league game to avoid a third Grapefruit League start against Washington. He is scheduled to face the Nats in his first start of the regular season, on April 10 at Citi Field.
