If the Mets place David Wright on the disabled list Saturday, they will use Daniel Murphy at third base and a combination of Ronny Cedeno and Justin Turner at second.

And Josh Satin would be poised to take Wright's roster spot, according to a team source.

Satin, 27, hit .200 with two RBIs in 25 at-bats with the Mets last September.

He went 1-for-3 with an RBI and two strikeouts as the DH in Triple-A Buffalo's 7-5 loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday afternoon. He is now hitting .250 with a homer and four RBIs through eight games with the Bisons in 2012.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
