Major League Baseball has locked in the selection order for the June 4-6 draft.

Based on 2011 reverse order of finish, the Mets will select 12th.

They then pick up the 35th and 71st overall picks for losing Jose Reyes, before also drafting 75th overall (in the second round) with their own pick.

The Mets draft 107th overall (third round) and 140th overall (fourth round). And they will settle into the 12th pick in every round beyond that.

This year's draft has been reduced to 40 rounds, from the previous 50.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
