Josh Thole caught five innings in an extended spring training game Monday, in his first game action since suffering a concussion in Philadelphia on May 7.

Thole is expected to soon move to Triple-A Buffalo for a brief rehab assignment. He could be back in Queens by the weekend.

Ruben Tejada (quadriceps) and Jason Bay (rib) both served as DHs in that game in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
