Wright still in All-Star lead at 3B for NL

David Wright remains in the lead among National League third basemen in the latest All-Star Game balloting, which was released Tuesday by Major League Baseball.

Wright has 1,358,992 votes. He now leads No. 2 Pablo Sandoval (1,103,650) as well as David Freese (1,095,206) and Chipper Jones (1,054,586) in tight results.

No other Met position player appears among the voting leaders. MLB lists the top five players at infield positions and the top 15 in the outfield.

The game will be held July 10 in Kansas City.
