All-Star Update: Wright still in lead

Major League Baseball released the latest All-Star voting numbers on Tuesday, and David Wright remains on top at third base in the National League.

Wright currently has 1,977,388 votes. The next-closest players at his position are the Giants' Pablo Sandoval (1,612,497), the Braves' Chipper Jones (1,547,221), and the Cardinals' David Freese (1,540,085).

Wright is currently second in the major leagues in on-base percentage (.455), and fifth in batting average (.353).
