Ramon Ramirez, who has been on the disabled list since May 31 with a strained right hamstring, is due to move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Buffalo, a team official said.

Ramirez made his second relief appearance for Class A St. Lucie on Wednesday morning. He retired all three batters he faced. Two days earlier, Ramirez had allowed three runs on five hits in an inning with the Florida State League club.
