DURHAM 6, BUFFALO 5: Ramon Ramirez was charged with three runs on four hits and a walk while recording only two outs in his first game since shifting a rehab assignment to Triple-A. Jenrry Mejia was charged with two runs while recording only one out in his fourth appearance since a conversion to the bullpen. Ruben Tejada went 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored and played a full game at shortstop. Matt den Dekker went 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs. Box

BINGHAMTON 12, ERIE 2: Wilmer Flores doubled, scored two runs and drove in two in a three-hit game. Jefry Marte matched a B-Met season high with three runs scored, while Eric Campbell kept up his hot streak with three RBIs. After a pair of walks and fielder’s choice in the first, Campbell supplied a sac fly and Flores doubled in a run. The B-Mets scored four more runs in the third. Marte started by blasting a solo homer. Following a walk and single, Wilfredo Tovar had a two-run triple for his first hit as a B-Met. Juan Centeno added an RBI single. B-Mets starter Darin Gorski survived two bumpy innings before settling in. No runner reached second base against him after the second. Binghamton blew the game open in the sixth against reliever David Kopp. Campbell drove in two with a bases-loaded double. Flores brought in another run by sending the next pitch into right for a single. Dustin Martin capped the three-pitch barrage by doubling in a run on the first pitch he saw. Centeno kicked the lead to 12 with an RBI single. Gorski (5-4) exited after six scoreless innings. He allowed five hits and struck out four in his third win in June. Jeff Stevens made his B-Mets debut with a scoreless seventh, but ran into trouble in the eighth. He allowed three hits and walked in a run with the bases loaded. ST. LUCIE 8, FORT MYERS 7 (5 innings): Rafael Fernandez and Blake Forsythe hit back-to-back homers in a four-run fifth as the Mets rallied in a rain-shortened game called after that half-inning. The Mets trailed, 7-4, entering the bottom of the fifth. In the heavy rain, Fernandez ripped a game-tying three-run shot over the right-field fence with one out. Forsythe followed with a go-ahead solo blast over the right-field fence. Earlier, Cory Vaughn drilled a two-run homer in a three-run first for the Mets. Chase Huchingson allowed seven runs and five hits in 4 2/3 innings. Josmil Pinto's grand slam highlighted a five-run second inning for the Miracle. Taylor Whitenton earned the victory in relief by recording the final out in the fifth. Travis Taijeron had an RBI double for the Mets in the fourth inning to cut the deficit to 7-4. Box

SAVANNAH 5, AUGUSTA 1: The Gnats scored three times in the bottom of the first inning against GreenJackets starter Chris Marlowe. Savannah drew two bases-loaded walks in the inning to force in runs -- one by Brian Harrison, the other by Charley Thurber. Starter Jacob deGrom took a scoreless effort into the sixth, when two pop-fly singles and a soft line drive into left chased him from the game. Reliever Chasen Bradford entered with the bases loaded and induced a pair of groundballs, the second of which the Gnats used to turn two to end the frame with just one run scoring. DeGrom struck out five and walked one while improving to 3-1 with a 2.88 ERA in 46 2/3 innings. T.J. Chism worked around an error to handle the ninth. Savannah added a run in the second on an RBI single by Cam Maron. The hit extended Maron’s hitting streak, the longest by a Gnat in 2012, to 15 games. He is tied for the third-longest hitting streak in the South Atlantic League this season. Box

KINGSPORT 5, GREENEVILLE 5 (suspended): The game was halted after five innings with the score tied. Catcher Tomas Nido was 2-for-3 and had his first professional homer before the stoppage. K-Mets starter John Gant allowed five runs in five innings. Box

ABERDEEN 6, BROOKLYN 1: Brooklyn's Alex Sanchez began the second inning with a double and moved to third on a passed ball. Kevin Plawecki, making his third start, collected his first professional RBI with a groundout to give Brooklyn the early 1-0 edge. The Cyclones, however, managed only one more hit the remainder of the game. Cyclones starter Julian Hilario cruised through the five innings, allowing two hits, before running into trouble. Will Howard started the sixth against Hilario with a single and stole second. After a pair of outs, Torsten Boss connected on an RBI single to knot the score at 1. An inning later, Aberdeen pounced on Brooklyn's bullpen. Dawrin Frias (1-1) allowed four runs, all with two outs, as Aberdeen jumped in front 5-1. Box
