Eight days after he suffered a concussion, Jason Bay said Saturday that his symptoms have cleared. Bay said he is still not out of the woods until he begins physical activity, since there's always a chance the symptoms could resurface. But the left fielder is confident this concussion is far less severe than the one that sidelined him for the final two months of the 2010 season.

I did all my tests, all that stuff, and am waiting to hear back [from the doctors]. … Hopefully in the next couple of days I can start up activity again and go through that progression and within a couple of weeks be fine. But I actually feel really good.”
