Prior to Sunday night's game, Ruben Tejada and Ramon Ramirez will both be activiated, the Mets tweeted from their official account. Jordany Valdespin has been demoted to Triple-A Buffalo. The team's other roster move is pending.

Tejada has been on the disabled list since early May with an injured right quadriceps. Ramirez was on the DL with a strained right hamstring. The right-hander suffered the injury celebrating Johan Santana's no-hitter.

Tejada will start at shorstop on Sunday night against the Yankees and bat second.
