Terry Collins told reporters in Atlanta that Johan Santana's right ankle is not an obstacle, and Santana will face the Braves on Sunday in Atlanta -- after Chris Young pitches Friday and R.A. Dickey Saturday.

The manager also continued to present a scenario in which either Young (if he's capable of returning on regular rest) or Miguel Batista most likely will start Wednesday in Washington. The Mets can delay Batista's start until as late as Saturday if Young and the other starters pitch on standard rest.

As for Matt Harvey, Collins did not completely rule out using him over Batista. Still, Collins said Harvey was only a "remote possibility," according to the Daily News.
