Mike Baxter's rehab tour, now in Day 9, is moving to Triple-A Buffalo.

Baxter suffered a displaced right collarbone and fractured rib cartilage on the catch that preserved Johan Santana's no-hit bid on June 1.

He had solely DH'd the first week of his rehab assignment before manning left field Sunday for Double-A Binghamton.

In seven games between Class A St. Lucie and the B-Mets, Baxter hit .280 (7-for-25) with five RBIs and two walks.

Terry Collins said it's unclear whether Baxter will be back this weekend at Arizona or at a later date.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
