Mets sign Hansen to minor-league deal

The Mets announced right before Tuesday night’s game that they’ve signed former first-round pick, right-hander Craig Hansen to a minor-league contact.

Hansen, 28, owns a 4-9 record with a 6.34 ERA in parts of four seasons with the Red Sox and Pirates.

He last pitched in the major leagues in 2009.
