Francisco to rehab at Double-A Wednesday

Mets closer Frank Francisco is expected to begin his rehab Wednesday for Double-A Binghamton at New Britain, the team tweeted Tuesday night.

Francisco was supposed to make his first rehab appearance on Monday night, but didn't because he felt discomfort in his right knee and underwent an injection to ease the pain.
