SAN FRANCISCO -- Veterans like to keep rookies in line. And apparently it did not sit all that well that Jordany Valdespin wore a T-shirt to the ballpark Wednesday.

When Valdespin arrived at his locker after the game, he found the the sleeves cut up, plus writing on the T-shirt.

The front had "NY," a heart and "Valdy" written on it.

The back read "El Hombre."

Valdespin initially was not too pleased, barking at teammates that his clothing was ruined. He eventually departed wearing the attire, though, in a more cheerful mood.

When Valdespin confronted Josh Thole, Thole said: "That was not me."

Chimed in Ike Davis: "They did a good job, though."
