BUFFALO 10, LEHIGH VALLEY 1 (seven innings): Josh Satin went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and four runs scored in the rain-shortened game while extending his hitting streak to eight games. The Bisons grabbed the lead with a three-run second. Satin led off with a double and Matt Tuiasosopo walked. Matt den Dekker then lined a two-run double to right field. Den Dekker stole third base and Mike Nickeas took advantage with a sacrifice fly. The Herd tacked on four runs an inning later, the big blow coming on a three-run homer by Valentino Pascucci for a seven-run lead. Chris Schwinden retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced. The lone IronPig to reach during that stretch was Hector Luna, who singled in the second inning. Luna produced an RBI double in the fourth. Schwinden pitched all six innings for the Herd, allowing the one run on four hits. He has won his past three starts (2R, in 19 innings) and has a 1.65 ERA the last six outings. Box

BINGHAMTON 6, NEW BRITAIN 4: Allan Dykstra led off the fourth with a walk from starter Logan Darnell, took second on a single and scored on consecutive groundouts. The floodgates opened on Darnell an inning later. After two singles, Wilmer Flores produced an RBI double. Eric Campbell followed with a run-scoring single. After Flores scored on a wild pitch, Jefry Marte capped the four-run inning with an RBI double, which gave Binghamton a 5-0 lead. B-Mets starter Greg Peavey skated through the first five innings without allowing a run, but that stretch came to a halt in the sixth on a sac fly by Oswaldo Arcia. With two on for New Britain in the seventh, Nate Hanson and Estarlin De Los Santos contributed RBI singles. Peavey exited with one out. Jeff Kaplan entered and Aaron Hicks greeted the righty with a run-scoring fielder’s choice, cutting Binghamton’s lead to one. New Britain’s threat ramped up as Kaplan allowed a single and walked a batter to load the bases for Chris Colabello. Kaplan escaped, though, by inducing an inning-ending force out. Juan Centeno added an insurance run with an RBI single off Jose Gonzalez before Kaplan returned to toss a perfect eighth. Ryan Fraser worked around a two-out walk to secure his second save. Peavey (6-7) was charged with four runs on nine hits over 6 1/3 innings. He earned his third win in his last four starts. Box

ST. LUCIE 5, PALM BEACH 2: Jack Leathersich, Jeff Walters and Hamilton Bennett each tossed two scoreless relief innings and St. Lucie rallied. Palm Beach produced a two-run first inning against reigning Florida State League player of the month Tyler Pill. Blake Forsythe's three-run homer in the fourth gave the Mets the lead. Box

LOWELL 3, BROOKLYN 1: The Cyclones took a 1-0 lead in the top of the sixth, but Lowell answered with a three-run bottom half of the frame. Brooklyn's only three hits in the game came from Stefan Sabol, Alex Sanchez and Eudy Pina. Sabol's two-out double plated Kevin Plawecki, who had walked, for Brooklyn's lone run. In the bottom half, Luis Cessa's scoreless effort unraveled. Dreily Guerrero led off with a single, but was caught stealing. David Chester, though, followed with a homer to tie the score. Mookie Betts then singled and Matthew Marquis homered. Cessa (3-3) surrendered three earned runs on seven hits in six innings. Matt Bowman tossed two scoreless relief innings. Box
