Left-hander Garrett Olson, who allowed four runs while recording only one out in his lone Mets appearance, has cleared waivers. The veteran southpaw has been outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo.

Olson was dropped from the roster last weekend when Johan Santana was activated from the disabled list. The move left Josh Edgin as the lone left-hander in the bullpen.
