Daniel Murphy, who was due to bat second and play second base on Wednesday night, has been scratched from the lineup.
Terry Collins said Murphy was suffering from lower-back stiffness.
Ronny Cedeno enters the lineup in place of Murphy.
"It's nothing I think is going to take very long," Murphy said. "I just kind of woke up sore -- lower-back soreness. It's just a reminder that 140 games is a lot of baseball."

I'm confident Ike will be with #Mets Friday, barring something unforeseen. Don't know how much time he has, though, with glare intensifying.
