Wright 6th, Dickey 14th in MVP voting

David Wright tied with the Nats' Adam LaRoche for sixth in NL MVP balloting released Thursday night. Each tallied 86 points, trailing winner Buster Posey (422 points), Ryan Braun (285), Andrew McCutchen (245), Yadier Molina (241) and Chase Headley (127).

Dickey finished tied with Joey Votto for 14th with 16 points.

The highest Wright appeared on a ballot was fifth -- by seven of the 32 voters.

Dickey's highest placement was sixth, by Andy McCullough of the Newark Star-Ledger.

McCullough had Wright 10th.

The other New York MVP voter -- yours truly -- placed Wright ninth on his ballot.
