Lending further to the accuracy of ESPNNewYork.com reporting that R.A. Dickey is likely to remain a Met, the knuckleballer has agreed to play an elf alongside Ike Davis on Tuesday at Citi Field.

John Franco will play Santa at the team's annual holiday party for schoolchildren, which this year will bring students from Far Rockaway who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy to Citi Field.

Dickey already had been scheduled for a non-Mets midday appearance in Times Square.
