Josh Thole would follow R.A. Dickey to Toronto in the current incarnation of the trade, with catcher John Buck joining the Mets in the swap, according to the Post.

In addition to catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud, the Mets also would yield Class A right-hander Noah Syndergaard, who was 8-5 with a 2.60 ERA in 27 appearances (19 starts) for Lansing last season. The sides also would swap another prospect, according to the report.

Buck hit .192 with 12 homers and 41 RBIs in 343 at-bats last season with the Miami Marlins.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
