Jenrry Mejia arrival delayed by visa issue

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Jenrry Mejia will be delayed arriving to spring training because of a visa issue, the Mets said.

Mejia is due to work as a starting pitcher in spring training.

The 23-year-old right-hander had a 5.63 ERA in five appearances (three starts) for the Mets last season.
