Wright will be ready for Opening Day

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- David Wright will be ready for Monday's season opener at Citi Field.

The Mets signaled as much Friday when they decided to place Wright in their Grapefruit League lineup, eliminating the potential to backdate any DL stint.

Daniel Murphy played in his first Grapefruit League game Thursday. So both should be with the club on Opening Day after dealing with intercostal muscle strains.
