The Mets made two roster moves after Saturday's 7-3 victory over the Marlins.

Jeurys Familia has been sent down to Triple-A Las Vegas, and Johan Santana has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list.

The Mets needed to open up a roster spot for starting pitcher Aaron Laffey, who will make his Mets debut on Sunday.

Familia had made one appearance so far this season, giving up one run in 1/3 of an inning in the Mets' 2-1 loss to the Padres on Thursday.

Santana will miss the entire season following shoulder surgery.
