Marcum flies to NY, ready for Saturday start

Shaun Marcum felt fine the day after throwing five innings in an extended spring training game Monday and is ready to start Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies, Terry Collins said.

Marcum was due to fly to New York from Florida on Tuesday afternoon, according to the manager.

Marcum, 31, went 7-4 with a 3.70 ERA in 21 starts for the Milwaukee Brewers last season.
