Matt den Dekker is getting closer to a return from a fractured wrist.

Center-field prospect Matt den Dekker, who suffered a fractured right wrist on an attempted catch in a March 24 Grapefruit League game, is progressing and should be back in games no later than early June -- and possibly sooner.

Den Dekker had the cast removed two weeks ago.

A fifth-round pick in 2010 out of the University of Florida, den Dekker hit a combined .274 with 17 homers, 76 RBIs and 21 steals last season between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Buffalo.
