Reyes scratched

Jose Reyes, who was in in the Mets' original lineup, already has been pulled because of his right oblique issue. Carlos Beltran does return, though. And Josh Thole continues to serve as R.A. Dickey's personal catcher.

A team official said Reyes is not yet comfortable hitting from the left side of the plate. He's expected to be in the lineup Friday against left-hander Barry Zito.
