WASHINGTON -- The Mets' game against the Nationals on Thursday night has been rained out.

Although the forecast is gloomy for Friday at Citi Field, Matt Harvey remains scheduled to start the series opener against the Miami Marlins. Shaun Marcum will pitch Saturday, with Jonathon Niese on Sunday.

Thursday's rainout will be made up as part of a split doubleheader July 26 at Nationals Park (1:35/7:05 p.m. ET).
