NEW YORK -- Matt Harvey left Saturday's game against the Marlins prior to the start of the eighth inning with lower back tightness.

In the bottom of the seventh, Harvey batted and got a single. He came out to pitch the eighth, but then manager Terry Collins and the trainer quickly came onto the field and pulled the young star.

Harvey threw 93 pitches on the day, giving up one run on six hits, with six strikeouts and no walks. The game was tied after seven innings, so Harvey (5-0) will not factor in the decision.
