PHILADELPHIA -- Travis d'Arnaud's clearance to run has been limited so far to activity in a rehab pool that reduces the amount of weight being placed on his fractured left foot, assistant GM John Ricco said.

Ricco said d'Arnaud would be reevaluated in a couple of days before being cleared to proceed to land-based running. The assistant GM reiterated that the expectation is d'Arnaud will return to games this season.

D'Arnaud suffered the fracture of the first metatarsal when he was struck with a foul ball while catching for Triple-A Las Vegas on April 17.
