Den Dekker to join Vegas

NEW YORK -- Center-field prospect Matt den Dekker, who suffered a fractured right wrist in

a March 24 Grapefruit League game, is set to join Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

Den Dekker went 1-for-3 with a double and RBI in Class A St. Lucie's rain-shortened 4-1 loss to Fort Myers on Sunday. In 14 games with the Florida State League club since returning from the fracture, den Dekker hit .276 (16-for-58) with two doubles, four RBIs, three walks and a stolen base.

Den Dekker, a fifth-round pick in 2010 from the University of Florida, hit .220 in 295 second-half at-bats with Triple-A Buffalo last season.
