Source: Mets-Astros chat minimal

With 10 days to go until the trading deadline, the Mets have had very little conversation with the Houston Astros, a National League source said. The source expressed surprise about how little the Mets have called about Roy Oswalt. As for Brett Myers, the likelihood is the Astros hold onto him, the source suggested. Houston has an $8 million option for Myers for next season with a $2 million buyout.

Meanwhile, Houston has claimed two ex-Mets off waivers: Nelson Figueroa and Anderson Hernandez.
