PITTSBURGH -- Wilmer Flores, who initially was reported to have left Saturday's Triple-A Las Vegas game with a hamstring injury, actually only suffered a twisted ankle during batting practice, Paul DePodesta told ESPNNewYork.com.

"Seems mild," the Mets exec added.

Flores has been selected to represent the 51s in the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday in Reno, Nev.

He ranks eighth in the Pacific Coast League with a .321 average and leads the league with 75 RBIs.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
