MIAMI -- Frank Francisco, who has not appeared in the majors this season after undergoing December surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow, received a pair of cortisone shots last week, a team insider told ESPNNewYork.com.
Francisco should be cleared to resume throwing later this week.
He is earning $6.5 million this season, which completes a two-year, $12 million deal.
