FIRST PITCH: What a Harvey Day.

Matt Harvey threw his first complete-game shutout as he powered the Mets to a 5-0 win over the Rockies on Wednesday night. With the win, the Mets are now in third in the NL East.

The Mets will go for the sweep of the Rockies on Thursday afternoon. Dillon Gee is the starter.

Jenrry Mejia said his lower velocity on Tuesday night was due to an attempt to avoid elbow discomfort.
